DIN 125 A

Commercial plain washer · 100 HV

A 100 HV steel plain washer without chamfer for use under a bolt head or nut. Select the size and finish in the commercial DIN 125 A series; ISO 7089 versions with 200/300 HV hardness have a separate data sheet.

The commercial version described here has 100 HV hardness. Bore and outside diameter follow catalogue dimensions; complete tolerances require confirmation against the supply specification. Similar geometry does not give the washer a 200 HV or 300 HV hardness class.

Other materials and specifications on request

For requirements beyond the tabulated combinations, enquire about aluminium, brass, nylon, duplex, superduplex or an ASTM specification. Alloy or grade, dimensions, mechanical requirements and finish are defined for the enquiry; the geometric reference does not automatically imply conformity with the product standard.

ISO, DIN and UNI: key differences

DIN 125 A

DIN 125 A is a historical reference used commercially for plain washers without chamfer. This is the 100 HV steel version; it is not presented as ISO 7089.

ISO 7089:2000

Related reference with distinct hardness requirements: ISO 7089 specifies 200 HV/300 HV. Do not confuse the commercial 100 HV version with ISO conformity.

UNI 6592

Related commercial reference for plain washers. Verify the requested specification and dimensions without claiming exact normative equivalence.

Mating components

Check bore size, bearing surface, hardness and materials throughout the connection.

100 HV washers are also used commercially with class 8.8 bolts and class 8 nuts. This is not a universal design rule: verify bearing pressure, support material and joint requirements.
