Small components.
Critical requirements.

Official examples of ADAX components

Precision pins / axes

Cylindrical pins, hardened and unhardened shafts, ground shafts, gauge pins and micromotor shafts.

Rolling elements

Needle rollers, cylindrical rollers and barrel rollers, with geometry and requirements defined for the application.

Manufactured components

Complex rotational parts and drawing-based cylindrical components, from turning to agreed finishing processes.

Ground bars

Precision ground bars. The stated range for bar grinding is Ø 1.50–20.00 mm.

Centerless grinding.
A focus on the micron.

Grinding controls the diameter and surface of shafts and cylindrical components. Dimensional precision, roughness and inspection requirements must be defined together on the drawing.

For bar grinding specifically, ADAX states Ø 1.50–20.00 mm. This range does not describe the complete pin range or other processes.

ADAX works to micrometric requirements in specific processes. The tolerance applicable to your component is confirmed during technical assessment.

ADAX centerless grinding technology

From turning to final sorting.

01 / CNC Turning

CNC turning for project-specific geometries and operations. The production sequence depends on material, drawing and batch requirements.

02 / ESCOMATIC® Turning

Turning for small precision components, assessed against part geometry and production programme.

03 / Centerless Grinding

Centerless grinding of external diameters and surfaces on cylindrical components.

04 / Profile Grinding

Profile grinding of functional geometries to the drawing and agreed process plan.

05 / Bar Grinding

Centerless bar grinding in the stated Ø 1.50–20.00 mm range; specific requirements remain subject to confirmation.

06 / Lapping

End-face lapping to control length, flatness and parallelism.

07 / Rolling

Precision rolling, with achievable characteristics and suitability assessed for each component.

08 / Tribofinishing

Mass finishing for surface and edge requirements defined in the specification.

09 / 100% Inspection / Sorting

Inspection and sorting against agreed characteristics, including dimensional class sorting where specified. This is not a universal zero-defect promise.

Engineering & Methods

Feasibility before production

Dueemme gathers the drawing, revision, material and critical requirements. ADAX’s Technical & Methods team assesses feasibility and process planning with technical, quality and production teams.

Measurable, agreed requirements

Project review clarifies the production method, inspections and required documents. Any adjustments and corrective actions are coordinated before supply is confirmed.

Agreed inspections

Specify characteristics to inspect, acceptance criteria and documentation. 100% inspection and class sorting cover defined parameters, not every possible component characteristic.

Supply continuity.

Security stock

ADAX describes security-stock programmes to support production continuity. Dueemme coordinates assessment of consumption, batch sizes and demand fluctuations; quantities and lead times require a specific agreement.
