One component to handle and assemble
The hex nut is supplied with a conical spring washer retained beneath its body and free to rotate relative to the nut. Both elements remain together during handling and assembly.
Washer already present
Reduces the risk of omitting the washer.
Simpler assembly
Nut and washer arrive at the workstation already assembled.
Conical spring element
The washer deforms elastically under load; its behaviour must be verified in the actual joint.

Class 8 refers to the nut. Washer properties and joint performance must be specified separately. No universal anti-loosening or vibration-resistance performance is assigned.
The standard configuration is zinc plated. Specify any coating thickness, passivation or corrosion-resistance requirements in your enquiry.
